Stunning Sand Animation

Kseniya Simonova is an incredibly talented 24-year-old artist from Ukraine. She effortlessly draws intricate and captivating imagery using only sand that is angelically moved around on top of a light box.

Simonova became an internet sensation after winning the Ukraine Got Talent show by performing her winning sand animation piece shown in the below video.

"Here, she recounts Germany conquering Ukraine in the second world war. She brings calm, then conflict. A couple on a bench become a woman's face; a peaceful walkway becomes a conflagration; a weeping widow morphs into an obelisk for an unknown soldier. Simonova looks like some vengeful Old Testament deity as she destroys then recreates her scenes - with deft strokes, sprinkles and sweeps she keeps the narrative going. She moves the judges to tears as she subtitles the final scene 'you are always near' ". source: here.

The above piece was way more than what I was expecting.
It caught me by surprise. Totally off guard, my eyes were held fixed upon it as if they were enchanted by some sort of mesmerizing spell that shook my entire being and left me speechless..
So is the awe-inspiring effect of artistic creations on the human soul.

Here are two more videos of other performances:

I feel humbled and amazed by her talent...makes me wonder ..
I hope you feel the same way too.
